Then join us: we are currently looking for a Corporate Communications Trainee to support our Group Communications team in the Borealis Head Office in Vienna, Austria. We are looking for an all-rounder who is looking to gain experience in different areas of a corporate communications department to see where your true talents and strengths lie. In this role, you will:
- Support our team in content creation and production, for example media releases, interview preparation, social media content, multimedia, presentations and briefings for live events/panels, omni-channel campaigns etc., according to the content strategy as well as in the related coordination process with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.
- Support the publication process across all corporate online and offline communication channels in coordinating relevant assets with diverse stakeholder, for example website, intranet, media relations and social media activities.
- Provide hands-on support for physical and virtual events – corporate level brand activation, for example corporate fairs, conferences and exhibitions.
- Support the Social Media Core Team in the development, implementation and monitoring of Borealis’ social media presence.
- Contribute to the development of on/offline communication assets following the corporate identity guidelines.
- Help in monitoring of corporate communications activities across content topics, channels and related branding KPIs.
About you
You are the right candidate for this role, if you have a Master degree in Communications or equivalent. In addition, students who are currently in the finalization of their Master degree are welcome. Moreover, you have excellent English and German language skills as well as excellent IT user skills including MS Office Suite, and ideally in Adobe Photoshop and Content management systems. Copywriting, storytelling and professional social media experience and savvy are seen as an advantage. Last but not least, you have the ability and desire to work with a multi-cultural team in an international corporate environment, and you are a proactive, open-minded and team-oriented person.

This is a temporary position until end of December 2024.
Following Austrian law regulations, we offer, reflecting your experiences, skills and competencies, competitive compensation based on the collective labour agreement starting at EUR 38.160 annual gross salary (based on 38 hrs/week) and are willing to pay more based on your experience and background. In addition, we offer a yearly bonus and a voluntary company pension plan.
